Originally from Japan, Mika Shimoda is a New York-based makeup artist. She began her journey as a makeup artist in London in 2010. After graduating from the Glauca Rossi School of Makeup, she assisted several top makeup artists.
In 2016, she relocated to New York to pursue her dream of working as a makeup artist in the fashion and beauty industry.
She celebrates the diversity of skin tones, facial features, and gender identities, acknowledging that real beauty shines through the genuine essence of each individual.
